Spectrometer Information
- 500 MHz Avance Spectrometer located in Med. Sci. 1 D, Room 19
- Designated for Solid-State NMR
- Uses Topspin 2.1 software on a Windows XP Workstation
Various Solids Probes
- The 2.5mm double resonance MAS probe capable of performing 1H/19F, and broad band (15N-31P) direct polarization, and cross-polarization/decoupling experiments. The maximum spinning speed is 35 kHz.
- 4mm triple resonance MAS probe capable of performing 1H/19F, and broad band (15N-31P) direct polarization, and cross-polarization/decoupling experiments. The maximum spinning speed is 15 kHz. There are four inserts for broad band correlation experiments: 27Al/29Si, 31P/29Si-65Cu, 13C/15N-2H, 17O/103Rh.
- 7mm double resonance MAS probe capable of performing 1H/19F, and broad band (15N-31P) direct polarization, and cross-polarization/decoupling experiments. The maximum spinning speed is 7 kHz.
- Wideline probe capable of running static NMR experiment at VT range of -150C to 400C, and covers the frequency range from 109Ag to 31P.
- We have a 4 mm and a 7mm CPMAS low gamma probes that cover the frequency range of 12 MHz to 50 MHz (41K to 51N).
Examples of Spectrometer Use
